Administration

Chief Financial Officer

We are currently seeking a CFO with an MBA or CPA and a JD. Candidate must possess 10+ years hospital experience, including supervision of internal financial operations, hospital reimbursement systems and business development. Senior Accountant

Opportunity for a Senior Accountant to be responsible for general accounting, reporting, fixed assets and special projects.

Responsibilities include:
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare related financial reports for the monthly and year end close
- Maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger, including construction-in-progress records
- Prepare capital project schedules and reports
- Assist the Controller in the oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Regulatory reporting, including 1099s, unclaimed property reporting and state filings
- Back-up for accounts payable and payroll functions

Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 4 years experience in a full-cycle accounting role
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Admissions

Admissions Clinician

Per Diem, Day/Evening shifts, some weekends. Master’s in behavioral health, preferably an MSW and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a crises/inpatient setting.

Admissions RN

Three, Full Time positions available to provide high quality patient care services and to facilitate in all aspects of the admission process.

36 hours per week, shifts will include some weekends and vary from 8:00a.m. to 8:30pm or 10:00am to 10:30pm.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

We currently have an excellent full time position available for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with eating disorder patients.

Full-Time RN

Four full-time RN positions, 2 on days and 2 on nights (12 hour shifts)

The ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and the qualifications and attributes essential for the provision of safe patient care in a therapeutic environment driven by customer service principles, evidence-based practice and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork. At least 3 years of nursing experience is required with at least 2 years in a behavioral health inpatient setting. Eating Disorders Experience is preferred.

Full-Time Psychiatric Technician

Four Full-Time Psychiatric Technician Positions, 2 on Days and 2 on Nights (12 Hour Shifts)

The ideal candidates will possess at least 2 years experience in a behavioral health setting. A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or a related mental health concentration is required with a strong desire to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting with patients with eating disorders.

Staff Psychiatrist

Silver Hill Hospital, a private nonprofit psychiatric hospital located in New Canaan, CT – just 50 miles north of New York City – is recruiting for a Staff Psychiatrist position. This position will initially be half-time with a strong possibility of becoming a full-time position in the near future. This position includes experience in an acute in-patient setting as well as treatment team leadership and direct care responsibilities. Board certification or board eligibility with anticipated certification in general psychiatry is required. An interest in eating disorders is a plus.
We offer competitive compensation, provide both hospital and private practice malpractice insurance and attractive benefits. Staff psychiatrists may maintain an independent private practice either on or off site.

Staff Psychiatrist for Eating Disorders Program

We are seeking a psychiatrist with experience in treating eating disorders for an exciting new eating disorder treatment program that includes both a limited number of inpatients and patients in a residential treatment setting. The program staff includes a psychologist, APRN, social worker and dietitian. The psychiatrist position is half-time with the possibility of extending to full-time. Board certification in general psychiatry is required.

Chronic Pain & Recovery Program

Office Manager

We are seeking an Office Manager to be responsible for providing support to the hospital’s chronic pain and recovery program.
 
Duties include: meeting & greeting patients; gathering information from patients; scheduling and contacting insurance companies; maintaining supplies & equipment for the unit; answering phones; transcribing written orders; and arranging outside appointments & transportation. Candidates must possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills and pleasant & professional demeanor.

Nursing

REGISTERED NURSES - Psychiatric experience required

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Part Time

We are currently seeking a part time APRN to work in an outpatient setting, engaging in the ongoing evaluation and treatment of patients with substance abuse issues. The APRN manages a caseload of patients in collaboration with the supervising attending physician.

Admission and Registration Specialist

Per Diem, 8:30 am to 9:00 pm. A minimum of one shift per month is required; more shifts may be available. BA/BS is preferred, prior experience in a mental health or medical setting is required.

Security

Security Officers

Two to five years' experience in the security field and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must be US citizens, pass a background check, personality assessment and drug screen and be able to meet state/county licensing requirements for a security officer. Excellent verbal and customer service skills required. Ability to operate electronic security equipment, CCTV, radios, etc. Willingness to participate in patient management.

TLP Coordinator (Transitional Living Program)

Full Time, Days, 40 hours, Monday to Friday. Responsible for the supervision of Senior Residential Counselors and administration of TLP programs and staff. 

Lifeguard/Gym Attendant

Full time position and per diem position, hours available Monday to Friday and Weekends, mornings and afternoons; prior experience and Lifeguard certification required.
