Nothing is more important to us than the continued good health of our patients following a stay at Silver Hill. All former patients and families are encouraged to stay close to ensure that Silver Hill continues to be a lasting resource after treatment and in the future if further support is needed. Every discharging patient receives an informational card describing ongoing support programs on and off campus and ways to participate in volunteerism and charitable giving.
The Alumni Association is open to all former patients, whether recent or from years ago, and to families. Please register today! Through emails and mailings, we will keep you apprised of upcoming events, such as the Silver Hill Gala, and hospital news like our current renovation of Barrett House.
Our inspirational brick walkway in front of Main House serves as a symbol of hope for current patients and families. Bricks – a gift from the hospital to donors who contribute $250 or more to the Silver Hill Fund – may be inscribed in any number of ways, perhaps with a name or initials and a date, the name of someone you wish to honor or thank, or with a meaningful phrase. Please click here to make a gift today.
The Silver Lining, our campus arts & literature magazine, is published quarterly to offer patients, families, alumni, and staff a creative outlet that can be helpful during recovery. Whether you express yourself in doodles or drawings, painting or sculpture, collages, song lyrics, poetry or photography, essays or short stories, please share your creativity with us and each other.
For more information or to register for the Alumni Association, please contact Ellie Valier, Alumni Relations Liaison, via email or phone (203-801-3440).
