The Silver Hill Fund
You may direct an "unrestricted" gift to Silver Hill Hospital's annual fund which gives us the greatest flexibility to direct your generosity to any of our most pressing priorities, including ones which are often unanticipated. Click here for more information about The Silver Hill Fund.

Buildings and Grounds
We require philanthropy to make significant renovations to three "TLP" residences - Barrett, Scavetta, and River Houses - to reconfigure space to better accommodate clinical activities, and to update these aging homes. With your help, we will also continue with a variety of landscaping projects to improve our outdoor therapeutic environment and campus circulation.

Electronic Clinical Information System
With the help of philanthropy, we will install an innovative state-of-the-art technology system to manage the vast array of clinical information related to every patient's treatment. We are a leader in this national initiative which will improve patient safety through the integration of all clinical data into one paperless record.

Program Initiatives
Contributions help us keep pace with the latest advancements in the field of psychiatry by funding enhancements to our extensive array of clinical programming. Specifically, philanthropy is used for seed money for new programs and for special projects associated with current clinical activities.

Scholarships
Philanthropy is required to help fund scholarships for motivated patients needing financial aid to extend treatment in a Transitional Living Program. Recently, requests for scholarship assistance have increased dramatically, much as a result of the economy, making this priority one of our most urgent.
