• 4 days a week, 7am to 2:30pm (30 hours)

Essential functions and key tasks:
Provides food and nutrition services to patients under the guidance of a registered dietitian
Prepares trays with proper dishes, glasses, cups, condiments and eating utensils for meals
Acts as a liaison between the eating disorder clinical treatment team and dining services
Assists registered dietitians with evaluating, implementing, and organizing nutrition programming
Communicates with other departments, such as nursing to optimize patient care
Monitors food quality and delivery as well as patient satisfaction with meals
Evaluates and monitors effectiveness and outcome of nutritional services and answers or refers questions regarding patient’s nutritional care to registered dietitian
Monitors meals and snacks, including eating/modeling normal eating with eating disordered patients
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree from a dietetic technician registered approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Candidate must have effective written and oral communication skills, be detail oriented, organized, have excellent time management skills and be comfortable with psychiatric population.
At least one year clinical experience is preferred.
Candidates should have at least two years' experience in computer software and hardware. A BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but not required. Good organizational and customer service skills required.
