Intensive Outpatient Program

Patient Experience
About the program

Our 6-week Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program meets Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3 – 5:45 pm in the large group room in K-House. While you are attending the program, you will continue to maintain a therapeutic relationship with your community-based therapist and psychiatrist for medication management, where indicated.

We encourage family participation

We believe that a psychiatric illness is a family affair, and family support of the patient is integral to restoring a sense of well-being in the home.

Families are invited to a multi-family meeting every Wednesday from 5:45 – 7:15 pm. The goal of this group is to introduce families to the same DBT modules and skills their child is learning.
