We offer two Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Group IOPs. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday from 9:00am – 11:45am is our adult group. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00am – 11:45 we have an group for Young Adults. Both programs teach patients the core DNT skills of Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Distress Tolerance
The Women’s DBT and Safe Relationships IOP focuses on education and skills needed to improve relationships, maximize the presence of supportive people, and let go of destructive relationships. Patients are guided through explorations of parallel relationships with self and others, personal values, and underlying emotional triggers. Self-esteem, healthy boundaries, stress management, and self-care issues are also addressed. The program utilizes core components from DBT and Seeking Safety treatment modules. This program meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am – 11:45 am.
Patients may also purchase our Wellness Services which offer a holistic approach to recovery in recognition of the integration of body, mind and spirit. Services include yoga, acupuncture, personal fitness training, meditation and massage therapy. These alternative therapies are meant to be complementary to traditional medical care, not a substitute for it. They are most effective when combined with medical treatment to help alleviate symptoms of pain and anxiety. The benefits, both short term and long, help promote a feeling of wellness.
We recognize that the entire family can be affected when one family member suffers from a mental illness. That’s why we encourage family members to learn DBT skills at our weekly DBT Family Program, which meets on Wednesdays, 5:45 – 7:15 pm.
The Personality Disorders intensive outpatient programs meet in the Jurgenson Building.
